And Simmons - who has two children, Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, with Tweed, has explained why he decided to get married after such a long time with his partner.
He told British newspaper The Sun: 'At 62 it really is time to think about that. Shannon and I have been together 28 years, and she's put up with a lot of c***. I've always been anti-marriage for me until they become mature. As species we don't mature until we're in our 60s.
'The biggest financial pitfall in life is divorce. And the biggest reason for divorce is marriage!'
