The 62-year-old recently married longtime partner Shannon Tweed and offered up some relationship advice.
He told UK newspaper Daily Express: 'The younger a guy is the more he'll lie to you - 'You're the only one for me' - that's a lie. All those songs he's written - 'I can't live without you' - that's a lie.
'The closer a man gets to death the more he matures.'
Speaking about Tweed, he added: 'Shannon knew it takes a long time for men to grow up and she believed in me - 62 is a good time for a guy.
'Been there done that - sown plenty of seeds. I'm as close to being grown up as a man can get. I profoundly love Shannon and will do for the rest of my life. It's the only marriage I'll ever have.'
