Gene Simmons and long-time partner Shannon Tweed have finally set a date to tie the knot.
The 62-year-old Kiss bassist and Shannon have been together for 28 years and have two adult children together; son Nick, 22 and 19-year-old Sophie.
After many years together, the pair will walk down the aisle on October 1 at an "iconic Beverly Hills hotel," according to Entertainment Tonight.
Gene and the 54-year-old former Playboy Playmate met in 1984 and began living together the following year. The entire Simmons family stars in the reality show Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and last season's final episode ended with a proposal.
The new season of the A&E show will begin with preparations for the impending nuptials.
Gene and Shannon have had several high-profile relationships prior to their commitment to one another.
Gene enjoyed relationships with iconic singers Cher and Diana Ross, while Shannon had a brief relationship with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
