Gene Simmons "couldn't contain his emotions" when his daughter sang at his recent wedding.
The 62-year-old Kiss bassist and Shannon Tweed have been together for 28 years and have two adult children; Nick, 22 and 19-year-old Sophie.
The couple tied the knot with vows they had written themselves in front of family and friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the beginning of this month.
Gene was overcomes with emotion when Sophie sang a rendition of an Etta James hit.
"There were so many memorable moments. Neither of us could contain our emotions when our daughter Sophie started singing At Last by Etta James," he told the UK edition of OK! magazine. "Then our son Nick followed with a great performance. We were so proud of them both."
Shannon, 54, wore an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown as she walked down the aisle. She later changed into two other dresses.
Gene was stunned by his beautiful wife.
"I felt like a very lucky man. Shannon's an amazing woman and she looked so beautiful. When I saw her in that dress, she looked breathtaking," he gushed.
