A 16-year-old teenager was killed and three injured when a gunman opened fire after a George Clinton concert in Cleveland on Saturday (July 30).
The veteran entertainer was the main headline act at the free event at Mount Pleasant.
Police believe the shooting, which occurred in a nearby parking lot as crowds left the concert, was instigated by a fight between a small group of young people.
One of those involved pulled out a gun and began shooting, reports CNN.
A 16-year-old died after being shot in the head. A 20-year-old woman was shot in the leg and a 14-year-old and 22-year-old males were shot in the leg.
It is not clear whether any of those involved in the altercation had attended the concert. No arrests have been made.
