Overview
The 40-year-old actor said he will be returning home for the holidays, where he will be putting his best dutiful-son foot forward by doing the dishes.
Speaking to People.com at the Artists For Peace & Justice Fundraiser For Haiti in Manhattan, he said: 'I'm going home to Scotland for Christmas, and I will be washing the dishes for Christmas, that's for sure.'
Despite loving his home country, Butler said he has learned to love New York.
He said: 'New York's my favourite city, I love it here. I've been having fun here.
'Even just at this party tonight, I've run into some friends that I've known for years – friends from Australia, from London – who have actually just moved here, and the excitement on their faces when they talk about their New York living experience…
