Geri Halliwell: `Victoria Beckham and I are like family`

In an appearance on ITV's Daybreak today Ginger Spice spoke about her love for her former band mate.

She said: 'If we were a family, we are like the parents, I'm mummy, she's daddy. We are really strong the two of us together, I can talk to her about anything.

'You know what I love about her, even if she's got a busy life, three children, a business, she always remembers to say good luck, she's very supportive and I really appreciate that.'

Victoria took to her Twitter page on the day of Halliwell's launch of her new fashion collection and wrote: 'Good luck today Geri with your launch!!hope it goes well! X vb x'

Although, it comes after Halliwell said she didn't take advice from Victoria, 36, about her own swimwear collection.

The 38-year-old was in a naughty mood as she tried to encouraged hosts Christine Bleakley and Dan Lobb to try on her new Next swimwear range.

Talking to Christine she said: 'Christine is beautiful.'

She later added: 'I want you to take your clothes off, I think the nation wants you to take your clothes off. I have actually got a gift for you.'

Showing off her swimwear pieces, she then complimented Bleakley further.

The fashion designer added: 'I have seen you in your bikini and you look hot.'
