Get Well Soon will perform at The Borderline next week on the 10TH March 2010.
Get Well Soon is the project of classically trained singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Konstantin Gropper from Berlin. Vexations is the brand new album from Get Well Soon released earlier this year through City Slang. Vexations is the 2nd album from Get Well Soon and the follow up to the critically acclaimed debut Rest Now, Weary Head!
Gropper is also a composer of film scores; his latest being for Wim Wenders' (Paris, Texas / Buena Vista Social Club) film Palermo Shooting which was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival 2008.
Get Well Soon blend music from all over the world – from folk to electro, Morricone soundtracks to tango and have drawn comparison to Beirut, Patrick Wolf, Tom Waits and Nick Cave.
