Pop mash-up prince Girl Talk continues his eclectic mixing on his forthcoming album.
During an interview with Pitchfork, Girl Talk (otherwise known as Greg Gillis) revealed some of the sounds he's bashed together on his next, as-yet-untitled opus.
He's included songs from Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Supergrass, Fugazi, Modern English, Fine Young Canibals, Black Sabbath, and a 'special crash up of Soulja Boy and Aphex Twin'.
The new album will be his fifth, following the commercial success of his all-mash-up 2008 album Feed The Animals.
He promises a dynamic and 'really really complicated' album, that is over an hour-long.
He also spoke about the ever-present threat of getting sued for using other people's music.
He said:
' feel confident in what I'm doing and I do believe it should be legal. But, simultaneously, it's hard to say you have no concern when The New York Times calls you a lawsuit waiting to happen. You might have this clock ticking in your head, thinking, 'When's this going to end?''
The new Girl Talk album should be out before the end of the year.
