Girls Aloud will release a new single, Long Hot Summer, on August 22.
The track, taken from the group's as-yet-untitled upcoming album, will be previewed on Radio 1's Breakfast Show on July 12.
The group's eight previous singles have all gone Top 5 with their debut Sound Of The Underground and the BBC Children In Need official song I'll Stand By You topping the charts in 2002 and 2004 respectively.
