Glenn Hughes has postponed his U.S. tour from March to August after undergoing a double knee replacement.
Hughes announced the postponement on his website:
I am sorry to say that some recent setbacks in my recovery from knee operations are the reason that I can't get out to see everyone as soon as I had hoped.
I want to make sure I give my fans the best live experience possible and promise it will be worth the wait. I can't wait to see everyone at the shows.
Hughes has also been able to retain Joanne Shaw Taylor as the opening act for the later dates.
Glenn Hughes has been part of groups such as Trapeze, Deep Purple (Mk. III & IV), Black Country Communion and California Breed along with working with Gary Moore, Joe Lynn Turner, Toni Iommi and his own solo projects.
