Gravenhurst's new double 'A' side single features the completely new track Nightwatchman's Blues and the squealing feedback cover-version of Fairport Convention's Farewell, Farewell, taken from the acclaimed Gravenhurst album The Western Lands.
This double 7" pack also contains two tracks specially recorded for a BBC radio session in Belfast: Nicole (as featured in This Is England, 2008 BAFTA Best British film), and Hourglass, taken from The Western Lands.
Artwork for the double 7" pack really has to be seen to be believed. Each sleeve unfolds into a poster which has been individually handmade by the incredibly talented long-standing Gravenhurst collaborator Thomas Hicks. Every sleeve has a unique image which depicts a different wartime scene, printed using hand-cut, handheld wooden blocks. The sleeves will be printed in order from 0001 to 1300, with every single one depicting a slightly different story or part of a story. Each double 7" pack will be hand-numbered and hand sealed.
