Groove Armada have whipped up a set of re-worked tracks from their recent album Black Light.
Of course, the album of songs, re-worked live in the studio, will be called White Light.
The nine-track album includes new song '1980', the rare 'History (Love Remix)' and seven overhauled tracks from Black Light.
Tom Findlay from the group explained, 't began as Black Light. Then it was recut, reworked and enlarged for a festival season that began at Glastonbury, crossed Europe, took in Japan, and ended in Moscow.'
'Now these king size live versions have been taken back to the studio and re-recorded. Black Light has become White Light.'
The timing is right, as this is pretty much a recorded farewell for the band as they recently announced that their forthcoming Australian and UK tours will be their last live dates.
White Light will be released on October 22, and will be exclusive to JB Hi-Fi and iTunes for the first month.
