Following his ecstatically received six night run at London's Soho Theatre (that sold out entirely in just two hours) and his highest charting solo album to date, Gruff Rhys has announced details of a new London date and an ambitious multi-media tour of Glastonbury Festival.
The new London show brings American Interior to the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the Southbank on Saturday September 20th. Tickets go on sale this Tuesday (20th May) at 9am.
Prior to that, Gruff will undertake a unique four-stop multi-media tour of the Vale of Avalon in June. Echoing the multi-format release of American Interior, Glastonbury Festival will host a screening of the film in the Cinema Tent, a discussion about the book on the Free University stage, a DJ set in the Stonebridge tent and a late night gig in the Crow's Nest. While it's not uncommon for artists to play multiple gigs at Glastonbury, no one has ever performed in so many different capacities. Stage times and performance days will be announced nearer the time.
