Gucci Mane Denied Bond In Assault Case

After turning himself in on Tuesday in connection with an alleged assault at an Atlanta nightclub, Gucci Mane was denied bond in his first court appearance on Wednesday afternoon and ordered to remain in jail for at least two weeks.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gucci (born Radric Davis), was booked into the Fulton County Jail just before midnight on Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

Police had issued an arrest warrant for the rapper on Friday in the case, in which an Army soldier claims Gucci hit him in the head with a champagne bottle after he approached the MC at the Harlem Nights club. The wound reportedly required 10 stitches and resulted in a concussion.

Gucci will be held in jail until his next court date on April 10. Gucci's management has not responded to requests for comment to date and his label has declined to weigh in on the rapper's latest legal entanglement.

One person who did comment was former Gucci protégé Waka Flocka Flame, who told RapFix Live on Wednesday
 that he is done with Big Guwop after the pair had a "real aggressive" conversation.

"He ain't it, he's bad vibes around me," Waka said referencing Gucci's legal problems. "I greet fans; he punches fans. It's a difference." Waka vowed that he will "never" make music with Gucci again.

A second man cam forward this week claiming that Gucci also assaulted him. That alleged victim, who asked to be identified as TJ, said Gucci, 33, assaulted him two nights after the initial incident. "I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected," said the victim, who claimed that the "Spring Breakers" co-star punched him in the jaw in the early hours of March 18 in Philadelphia. "He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses."
