Guns N' Roses have released their first album in 15 years on MySpace, just days ahead of its release in shops.
Chinese Democracy will not be available to buy until Monday but die-hard fans of the rock group can hear the album on the band's MySpace page.
However, they will not be able to download the tracks on to their computers.
They are one of the highest-profile acts to use the site, the world's largest social network on the Internet, to launch a record.
Geffen Records plans to exclusively release "Chinese Democracy" on November 23 in the United States although most of its tracks have already shown up in various forms, including pirated versions on the Internet. Shackler's Revenge also appeared on the soundtrack of video game Rock Band 2.
Last month a man pleaded not guilty to breaking copyright laws at a Los Angeles court after he was accused of distributing nine tracks on his website.
Sir Paul McCartney will also release "Electric Arguments," the new album by his side-project group The Fireman, on MySpace today before it is released on November 25.
It is the third album for The Fireman, a collaboration between the former Beatles bassist and Martin Glover, better known as Youth, the record producer and founding bassist of British punk-industrial music band Killing Joke. Their last album, "Rushes," came out a decade ago.
