Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has written three albums of new material, according to the band's guitarist DJ Ashba.
Speaking to Triple M Melbourne's Hot Breakfast, DJ Ashba said Rose had been prolific since the release of 'Chinese Democracy' in 2008.
"Axl has a lot of great songs up his sleeve. He probably has three albums worth of stuff recorded,” he said.
"The stuff I've heard… I've been up in his hotel room many nights and he just sits down at the piano and plays. I'm like 'This is amazing, people have to hear this song' and he's like 'Ah, this is something I'm tinkering on'."
DJ Ashba went on to describe Rose as a musical “genius”.
'Chinese Democracy' arrived in 2008 almost fifteen years after its predecessor.
