Harry Styles has dismissed speculation about his solo plans, insisting he's as committed to One Direction as ever.
The curly-haired singer is joined by Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson in the mega successful 1D lineup, but the boys broke hearts all over the world when they announced they would be taking a break in the new year (16).
Since forming on the UK version of The X Factor in 2010, the group have barely had a second to themselves. While it's been rumoured for years that Harry is keen to establish himself as a solo star, the 21-year-old insists his loyalties will always lie with the band.
"I think everything that we've done over the last five years in incredible," he smiled to Britain's The Metro newspaper. "It's been that way because we have all been incredibly committed to this band - as we are now.
"We've had a lot to focus on this year and we still have a lot to focus on until the end of the year. I think I speak for everyone - with the break, we haven't really thought past that."
Since their formation on the singing show, One Direction have released five albums and completed four world tours. When original member Zayn Malik called it quits in March (15) many feared it was the beginning of the end for the group. The hiatus has only further fuelled this, and Harry has confessed even he doesn't know what the future holds.
"When we go back five years, none of us could have ever picture achieving what we have," he stated. "To try and think ten years forward is impossible."
