Harry Styles used to feast on a bacon, bean and cheese concoction when he was growing up.
The One Direction star worked in a bakery in Cheshire, UK, before he found fame with the boy band. His former boss Simon Wakefield is thrilled to see how well Harry's career is going and can't help reminiscing about the time they spent together.
"He'd eat our special brunch pasties, which are bacon, beans, sausage and cheese. Every morning he'd make himself a big mug of tea and go for one of the brunch pasties. Then he'd finish with either a vanilla custard slice or a millionaire's shortbread [biscuit with caramel and chocolate]," he told Heat magazine.
Ladies' man Harry was a hit with girls even during his early days, with Simon remembering that the bakery used to be flooded with young women when he was working a shift.
The bakery boss always thought there was something special about the now 18-year-old star. All his colleagues loved Harry and he would occasionally treat them to a blast of his beautiful voice.
"When we had no customers, it was funny, because he'd break into song in front of all the staff," Simon giggled. "So we always knew he had it in him, we got used to it. It wasn't even round the back, it was in the front."
