Harry Styles has vowed never to 'twerk' again.
The One Direction star attended the Teen Choice Awards last night, where he was encouraged by hosts Lucy Hale and Darren Criss to perform the dance move made popular by stars such as Miley Cyrus.
While Harry was cheered on by his bandmates Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, he won't be repeating the booty shake anytime soon.
"Note to self. Don't 'twerk' (sic)," he jokingly posted on Twitter afterwards.
Also in the crowd was Harry's singer pal Ed Sheeran, who laughed hysterically as the star danced for the audience.
The redheaded crooner took to Twitter to voice his opinion on Harry's moves.
"One more note, people need to stop encouraging little kids to twerk, it's odd," he posted.
"Top twerker 2k7 (sic)," he added, attaching a picture of the curly-haired heartthrob.
Despite feeling embarrassed after his performance, Harry came out on top during the awards ceremony.
The cute singer managed to bag prizes for being a 'top hottie' and having the best smile.
His success didn't stop there, as One Direction were also crowned choice group, choice summer tour and scooped the choice single accolade with Live While We're Young and choice love song with Little Things.
"Yessss ! Thank you guys so much for the awards. U mean so much to us! Wouldn't be doin it without you! Thank you America! Chill tonight! (sic)" Niall tweeted.
Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato also did well in the music category, winning choice male and female artist respectively.
Canadian singer Justin was also crowned the hottest Twitter personality for his social networking updates.
Pitch Perfect won big in the movie category, taking home the prize for choice comedy, while its star Rebel Wilson took home the surfboard for best comedy actress.
Teen Choice host Lucy also didn't go home empty handed, as her show Pretty Little Liars won the best drama award.
