Harry Styles' solo song leaks

A solo track by Harry Styles has been leaked online.

The song, entitled Don't Let Me Go, has caused fans to worry he might be considering leaving One Direction.

Harry found fame alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne after appearing on the UK edition of The X Factor.

Now it seems he wants to prove he can stand alone by recording his own music.

The song is a ballad in which the curly-haired heartthrob sings about "blinding lights" and feeling lonely.

Fans responded to the track in a positive way on Twitter, but also begged Harry to stay with the other boys.

"I never thought I would say this but I really like Harry Styles solo work (sic)," one wrote, while another appealed directly to the singer: "@Harry_Styles I loved don't let me go, I ask only that you don't follow a solo career, i love 1d, you're my life (sic)."

It doesn't seem like the 19-year-old has plans to leave at the moment, as he is busy with One Direction on the North America leg of their Take Me Home Tour.

"Thank you so much for last night Ft Lauderdale. You were the perfect way to start the tour, hope you had fun. Thanks or having us .xx (sic)" he tweeted earlier this week.

Recently it was reported all of One Direction had signed personal publishing deals.

This could well signify a more independent future for the lads.

"This is a real statement of intent from the band," a source previously revealed.

"They have absolutely no intention of being spoon-fed pop puppets. They want to write and they want to earn as individuals."
