Harry Styles is rumoured to have 20 solo songs ready for release.
The 21-year-old lothario is currently one fourth of hit boyband One Direction, joining Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. However the quartet is planning to go on hiatus after playing in Sheffield, UK, on October 31 as part of the On the Road Again Tour.
With fans anxious about what the lads will do during this time, Harry is said to have recorded plenty of tracks ready to unleash on the world.
"Harry has been writing constantly, both when on the road and when doing his own thing," an insider told British newspaper The Sun.
"He's managed to work on and record 20 songs already.
"Some of what he's written in the past has been given to the band. But he's been working hard on creating his own sound."
It's no surprise the curly-haired heartthrob has got stuck into penning more tracks, as his spokesman previously revealed he wrote many of One Direction's songs over the years.
Recent reports claim Sony is keen to sign Harry, as the company is already familiar with him thanks to One Direction being a part of Simon Cowell's Syco label.
And it's thought music mogul Irving Azoff has also shown interest in the star. The 67-year-old businessman boasts countless big artists to his name, including Christina Aguilera, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Maroon 5.
2015 has been a year of change for One Direction; founding member Zayn Malik departed the group in March and earlier in the summer it was revealed Louis is to become a dad. The 23-year-old is expecting a baby with friend Briana Jungwirth and had fans in a frenzy with a recent online video clip. As he and Niall enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Niall's 22nd birthday, Louis is heard commenting on how Sin City is a great place to get married.
