The study which the company has carried out for the last five years focuses on malware sites that lure people to them with the promise of information about celebrities but which then download harmful software on to their computers.
The study found that searching for Heidi Klum yields a one in 10 chance of landing on a malicious site containing spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware.
'While slightly safer than last year, searching for top celebrities continues to generate risky results,' said Paula Greve, director of Web security research at McAfee. 'Consumers should be particularly aware of malicious content hiding in 'tiny' places like shortened URLs that can spread virally in social networking sites, or through emails and text messages from friends.'
Diaz was in the number two spot, followed by talk show host Piers Morgan, actresses Jessica Biel, Katherine Heigl, Mila Kunis, and Anna Paquin. Model Adriana Lima and actress Scarlett Johansson rounded out the top 10.
