Punk demigod Henry Rollins is slated to host a new National Geographic show about exotic animals.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that National Geographic have picked up four new series, including Animal Underworld, which will be hosted by former Black Flag singer, author, talk show host, actor, spoken word artist and all-around badass Henry Rollins.
There have only been three episodes ordered but it's a ringing endorsement of Rollins' earlier one-hour special Snake Underworld where he spoke to herpetologists and even introduced audiences to Slayer guitarist Kerry King's python collection.
This explains Rollins tweet from a few days ago where he wrote that he returned from overseas after hunting snakes and eating rats.
Among other adventures, the show will include Henry's visit to Arizona's Road Kill Café, which is exactly as it sounds. He also met up with people who eat frog smoothies and tarantulas.
Animal Underworld is yet to have a confirmed airdate.
