Hilary Duff: Marriage hasn’t fazed me

The singer-and-actress wed Canadian ice hockey player Mike Comrie in August and the pair enjoyed a private ceremony in Montecito, California, with family and friends.

But the 23-year-old has insists that the couple have kept their feet firmly on the ground despite their fame and fortune.

Hilary says she and Mike enjoy a normal relationship – and that in reality their lives are not that interesting.

“We’ve always been committed to each other, and still are. Since the wedding, we are getting back to normal. We’re boring!” Hilary told In Touch.

And the American star revealed that, while it is sometimes tough, the partnership is going from strength to strength.

Because Mike is often away with his team the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hilary says it is a long-distance effort. The star is well aware that their situation demands trust and commitment.

“It's always been the way it is. We've never known different. It's hard sometimes, but if you just believe in the person, it works,” she explained.
