The Notting Hill actor and Chinese actress Tinglan Hong recently welcomed their daughter following a ‘brief fling’, and according to Now magazine, he’s turned to his old flame to perform god parent duties.
“Hugh was shocked when he found out he was going to be a dad,” said a source.
“His initial reaction was a four-letter word I can't repeat. But he was also thrilled and desperate to be involved in his daughter's life.??
“Liz is delighted for him. She’s already been round to see the baby and Hugh said he wants her to be godmother.”
