Next year marks the 10th Anniversary of Ian Dury's passing and the release of the eagerly anticipated movie biopic of his life. To commemorate this, Demon Digital will release a collection of his best known and biggest recordings, including the title track to the eagerly anticipated movie. 'SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL' –The Essential Collection' is out on January 11th 2010.
Ian Dury needs no introduction; the so-called working class 'pop laureate' of the late 70s London music scene was known for his bold and brash spirit, outspoken lyrics and electrifying stage performances. Dury is undeniably a cult icon with a body of work still influencing music today.
