Ice Cube has crowned his own movie one of the funniest flicks he's ever seen.
The rapper-turned-actor has been working in front of the camera since the early '90s and his film roles include producer and director credits, too.
When asked what the last movie to make him cry with laughter was, Ice Cube put modesty aside and chose one of his own films.
"Ride Along! I enjoyed it, even though I'm in it and I produced it. It's still a great movie. It came out funnier than on the page," he exclaimed to Empire magazine.
Proving that he's a fan of other cinema work too, the 45-year-old chose the new Hobbit movie as the next on his list to see.
Despite having a few new projects in production, it's the adventures of Bilbo Baggins that he's most looking forward to seeing.
"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies are picture-perfect - they're put together as well as movies can be. I've been following it from the beginning. I'm looking forward to the spectacle," he smiled.
Getting into the movie industry was an easy transition for Ice Cube, as he's been a big cinema fan since childhood.
While he couldn't name one particular movie that influenced his move into acting, he had no problem reeling off the stars that had the biggest impact on him.
"I loved Eddie Murphy in 48 Hrs. That is a perfect movie. I thought he was a badass, you know what I mean? Eddie Murphy and Clint Eastwood and Al Pacino in Scarface - those were the influential movie guys for me," he revealed.
