Iggy Azalea doesn't think she's a great role model.
The 25-year-old rapper has quickly risen to the top of the music game, releasing hits like Fancy and Black Widow. Iggy has been nominated for four Grammy awards and has bagged countless Billboard accolades, but the Australian star doesn't put herself on a pedestal when it comes to young fans.
"As a role model, I don't think I'm a great one," she admitted to #legend magazine. "I consider what I do now knowing there are younger people watching me and there are things I wouldn't do on stage anymore, but I don't sit in the studios wondering what somebody's mom would say about my lyrics."
Iggy hasn't just hit the headlines for her music; her engagement to LA Lakers player Nick Young has come under fire recently amid allegations he cheated on her.
However her fans have stuck by her, showing her how much they love her via social media. She also counts A-list actress Jessica Alba as an admirer, despite the two hailing from completely different lifestyles.
"I don't know if she's still a fan but, back in the day, I had a song called P**$y and she posted it on her Facebook and said she liked it. I was definitely surprised because I think of Jessica Alba as somebody regal and graceful, and that was such a crass, ridiculous song. I suppose I just didn't think someone so graceful would appreciate something so crass. But that's cool," she smiled.
Iggy has always kept it real when it comes to sharing details of her life, including telling radio show Orlando & The Freakshow that she'd cut Nick's manhood off if there's ever talk about cheating again.
"I can't imagine someone talking to me and I just say, 'no comment'," she said. "I just think that makes for such a boring person and I'm not a boring person. I would never aspire to being a boring person or regret being a ridiculous one."
