Iggy Pop & The Stooges are set to perform a tribute for Madonna at her Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony next week.
Iggy Pop is set to perform several cover versions of her tracks.
Iggy and Modonna became friends when the former opened for the later at the Dublin leg of her 2004 'Reinvention' tour.
The ceremony, on March 10 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, will also feature performances by Damien Rice (for Leonard Cohen), James Cotton (for Little Walter), Patti LaBelle (for Gamble & Huff), John Mellencamp, The Ventures and The Dave Clark Five.
