The 'Lust For Life' singer would love to add a festive hit to his catalogue and considers recording a version of Bing Crosby's seasonal classic 'White Christmas' every year.
He said: "I am a real threat to cover 'White Christmas'. I'm ready, cocked and loaded."
The 62-year-old rocker also revealed he is a big fan of Frank Sinatra and has plans to fulfil a long-held ambition to record his own versions of some of the crooner's hits.
He added: "I've always wanted to beat up 'Willow Weep for Me' and there's 'Only the Lonely' - that's the title track of my favourite Frank Sinatra album."
