Tied to a Star will be released worldwide on CD / LP / DL from August 25th via Sub Pop. The album was recorded and produced by J Mascis and mixed by John Agnello at Bisquiteen in Amherst, MA. As well as Chan Marshall, Tied to a Star also features guest appearances from musicians Ken Maiuri (Young@Heart Chorus), Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession) and Mark Mulcahy (Miracle Legion). Tied to a Star is now available for preorder from Sub Pop Megamart, iTunes, and Amazon. Preorders from megamart.subpop.com will receive the limited edition "Loser" version on hot pink vinyl and an art print (while supplies last). Pre-order bundles are also available at www.jmascis.com, including limited-edition merchandise.
