The Gulliver’s Travels star said that like his character in the film, his ego is larger than life.
He told the Sun: 'I don't know that I feel like a giant but I am definitely aware that I have lost my anonymity. It's an ego boost getting noticed. My ego is definitely a giant.'
The 41-year-old added that since marrying cellist Tanya Haden, the mother of his two sons, he has learned a lot about relationships.
'Being a good husband is like being a gardener,” he said. “You've got to give your partner lots of water and sunshine - love and support. Communication is key - listening and sharing, finding a good TV show to watch together. It's also important to ask for what you want. I have a tendency to do whatever my wife wants, then anger builds up inside me and comes out in little passive-aggressive bursts. It's better to just communicate your desires up front - such an obvious and strange discovery at the age of 41.'
