Jack White spoke to Nylon magazine to tell them that boys in bands could do with a female member.
Speaking with authority as a band-mate of both The White Stripes' Meg White and The Dead Weather's Alison Mosshart, he said,
"That's the beauty of collaborating with males and females," he said. "There's something in the room, there's a new energy, and it sort of wipes the slate clean.
"It gets rid of all the bullshit... It's almost a good idea for an all-guy band just to have a girl sitting there, an engineer or something, in the room."
