Jack White gets Swedish psych rockers Dungen into the studio.
Rolling Stone reports from his Nashville studio that Jack White is recording a new Dungen track for his vinyl single series.
He had the band in to record another installment of his Blue Series vinyl singles that have been coming out on his Third Man record label.
The ripping psychedelic journey of a song is reportedly long enough to cover both sides of the record and was recorded on eight-track.
Dungen are fresh of the September release of their sixth album Skit I allt (translatable as 'Shit in everything' or 'Fuck all').
Third Man records already have vinyl available from White Stripes, Greenhornes, Pujol, Karen Elson, Wanda Jackson, White's side projects The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs, and two 7-inches from talk show legend Conan O'Brien.
And they're offering another extra special series, called Black & Blues. These ultra-limited edition live records are only available to those who attend their in-store concerts.
Pretty impressive work all around.
