Michael Jackson has hit back at Eminem after the rapper parodied his recent troubles in the video for his chart-topping single Just Lose It.
Jackson, awaiting trial on child molestation charges, made a surprise phone call to Fox News' Geraldo Rivera to complain about Eminem's controversial promo, which parodies Jackson's legal troubles.
The Washington Post reports that when he got the call, Rivera was covering a protest staged by a small group of Jackson's fans outside MTV's New York studios in Times Square.
They were complaining because MTV won't stop airing the video, which shows the rapper impersonating Jackson with boys jumping on a bed. The lyrics go: "Come here, little kiddie, on my lap. Guess who's back with a brand-new rap."
Jackson said in the call: "I think that it's demeaning and disrespectful, and I also want to make it clear that it's not just about Michael Jackson but about a pattern of disrespect that he has shown to our community. He needs to stop it and he needs to stop it now."document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
