James Arthur has embarked on a new Twitter rant, comparing his own treatment to that of Seaworld killer whale Tilikum, who was the subject of controversial documentary, Black Fish.
The troubled X Factor winner spoke out on Twitter on Sunday night (23 March 2014), drawing comparisons between himself and the killer whale, who has been kept in captivity his entire adult life, and killed trainer Dawn Brancheau in a tragic incident at Seaworld, California in 2010.
"I would like the front cover to be a drawing of the killer whale/Orca from sea world who features in the documentary “Blackfish” TILIKUM," he wrote on Twitter. "Ideally I'd like him to be attacking a crowd of people, lashing out after being exploited. Include my name and the title of the mixtape."
But, not happy with simply comparing himself to Tilikum, he also hit out at his own social media team - perhaps one of the few places he could still count on for support, following his actions in the past six months, including making homophobic slurs in rap tracks, and sending sexual aggressive text messages to a glamour model.
"HQ please stop writing things like 'we think you would #LOVE This and that' or 'everybody #GETDOWN and buy this..' It's embarrassing," he continuted. "Stick to promoting Paul Potts please. Thanks. #LOVE."
After the dig, Paul Potts responded online, writing: "You're a talented guy and ur music is great. But you're not an amateur anymore. Criticising ur promotion team openly on here... isn't the best idea."
"Their wages come out of your budget and there will come a time when you need them more than they need u."
