Brit Award winner James Morrison has announced a trip to the woods this Summer when he will be appearing at Delamere Forest, Cheshire. The concert will be supporting the Forestry Commission's valuable social and environmental programmes and is the first confirmed date as part of the venue's celebrated summer concert weekend.
James Morrison's debut album 'Undiscovered' has been a phenomenal seller since its 2006 release and has reached UK sales in excess of one million.
His fantastic vocal talent and song-writing skills produced classic hits like 'You Give Me Something', 'Wonderful World', 'Pieces Don't Fit Anymore' and the album title track, that continue to dominate the airwaves on radio stations across the UK.
James Morrison said "I loved the forest gigs in 2007 so this is unfinished business. I am really looking forward to playing Delamere Forest as it's the one Forest I didn't bag last year".
Commenting on the booking, Vernon Stockton, Community Forester for the Forestry Commission says "We missed out last year when James Morrison played six sell-out shows as part of the Forestry Commission's forest tour, so we are delighted to have secured a date with him for this Summer".
James Morrison will be performing at:
Delamere Forest, Linmere, Delamere, Cheshire on Sat 14th June 2008
Tickets £27.50 (subject to booking fee) are available from Friday 18th January 2008 from: 01842 814612 or buy on line from www.forestry.gov.uk/music.
