Jamie Foxx is proud to see Chris Brown acting like a responsible father.
The pair go way back, with Jamie having witnessed the young musician grow up to become the star he is today.
In March it was revealed that Chris is a dad to little girl Royalty, whose mother is former model Nia. Seeing the 26-year-old so involved with his child's life is heart-warming for Jamie, who is a father to daughters Corinne and Annalise.
"I've known Chris since he was 15 years old and he would come to my house and kick it and party with my sister who has Down's syndrome, and [he would] dance with her and people would ask me how I know Chris and I've known this kid since he was a pup," Jamie explained to E! News.
"I just felt like, you know, in our business you could've thrown money at it. And to see him take that step and really take care of his daughter... that is not to be overly commended because it's what he's supposed to do, but you know how this business can be. I thought that, for him, to see his smile now is just different to me and I hope he doesn't mind me saying that. It was great to see that."
The singers have collaborated for Jamie's single You Changed Me, taken from his upcoming album Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses.
Over the weekend the 47-year-old posted several snaps of him and Chris on his Instagram page, giving fans a glimpse at what they can expect from the video to accompany the track.
"On set #youchangedmevideo #youngbreezy#greatshoot album may 18th Hollywood (a story of a dozen roses) (sic)" Jamie wrote alongside a snap of him and Chris posing with serious faces.
And it seems Jamie had a group of supporters on set as he posted another photo of his daughter Annalise and Empire star Grace Gealey, along with several other youngsters and another woman.
