It was confirmed today, that 2011 X Factor sensation Janet Devlin, will be going in to the recording studio next week, with world class producer/songwriter Eliot Kennedy.
Mr Kennedy has worked with the likes of The Spice Girls, Take That, Bryan Adams and he produced Gary Barlow's new Diamond Jubilee track 'Sing'
Janet, 17, from Northern Ireland has been busy performing around the UK, since she left the show and it is hoped that her self penned tracks, once recorded, will appear on an album.
Music News' Reality TV writer & talent agent, Dean Midas Maynard officially promoted Janet Devlin via her family during her stint on the X Factor and had this to say today "It is exciting times for Janet and her fans, Janet has a fantastic voice and is teaming up with Eliot Kennedy, who is not only one of the world's top producers, he is also a top songwriter, I cannot wait to hear the finished tracks"
There is no current release date for Janet's debut album but Dean is confident that it will do well, when it is eventually released.
Dean can also exclusively confirm, that Janet will be the first artist to record in Mr. Kennedy's new 'The Foundry' studio, which has only just opened alongside his current Steelworks Studios in Sheffield.

The Diamond Jubilee track 'Sing' was produced by Eliot Kennedy and performed by Gary Barlow and The Commonwealth Band featuring Military Wives Choir. It is released on May 28th and available via all major outlets.
