There is still no official cause of death for Warrant singer Jani Lane following his autopsy on Friday.
Toxicology tests are now being conducted but results are not expected for two months.
Lane, aged 47, was found dead in a hotel room in Woodland Hills, California on Thursday. Vodka and prescription pills were found in the room.
Lane had been battling alcohol for decades.
His sister Vicky told radaronline.com that 'he was a heavy drinker and I can only guess that alcoholism has a lot to do with it'.
She also said that he did not tolerate drugs.
Lane wrote and sang Warrant's biggest hit 'Cherry Pie'.
