Jarvis Cocker has started taking regular baths now he's in a relationship.
The former Pulp frontman – who has a six-year-old son Albert with former spouse Camille Bidault-Waddington - admits he hasn't always been hygienic but has made much more of an effort since he embarked on a new romance with a mystery woman.
He said: "I've got a girlfriend now so my hygiene's improved a bit, but I didn't used to bath that often."
The 'Disco 2000' singer also admits he finds it strange when people are nice to him in the street because he was so used to getting picked on for his looks when he was growing up.
He told UK station Absolute Radio: "It is a bit strange actually when I come to think of it, no wonder I've had mental problems.
"I think that's why I'm quite surprised, because I did used to get 'four-eyes' and all that kind of thing, and so I suppose, because of that, when I see somebody clock me from the other side of the road and come towards me, I kind of cower, but then they're really nice to me, so its quite weird."
