When Carters Steam Fair roll's into town it does so with a proud reputation of being the most enchanting Fun Fair on earth, but that enchantment is going to intensify beyond all belief when the world famous Steam Fair arrives in Eel Brook Common, Fulham on Friday 17th June.
Every single ride is beautifully restored to its former glory, some dating back to the early 1900's and in the case of the Gallopers (Carousel) to 1895 but despite the authentic nature of the Fair this time there will be some rather familiar faces on view.
Imagine the Rock n' Roll Dodgems with Jarvis Cocker in the DJ booth.
Imagine riding the fantastic Lightening Skid with Razorlights Johnny Borrell at the helm.
Imagine a Coconut shy manned by Harry Hill.
Imagine Adam Buxton (Adam & Joe) on the hook a duck.
Add to this, the fantastic rides as well as a guest appearance from Britain's Got Talents Circus of Horrors and you will be only half way there.
