Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges has confirmed details of his solo debut album.
HitFix reveals that the actor recorded in LA and Brooklyn with T Bone Burnett, who worked on the Crazy Heart soundtrack.
Burnett brought in guitarist Mark Ribot, bassist Dennis Crouch, pedal-steel guitarist Russ Pahl, keyboardist Keefus Ciancia and drummer Jay Bellerose to help out on his debut.
There are also guest vocals from Rosanne Cash, Americana artist Ryan Bingham (who co-wrote the Oscar-winning Crazy Heart theme 'The Weary Kind'), alt-rocker Sam Phillips and Benji Hughes.
Bridges wrote some of the tracks on the 11-song, self-titled album, with help from Stephen Bruton, John Goodwin, Greg Brown, Bo Ramsay, and Burnett.
The album will be released on August 11 through the legendary Blue Note label.
