Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera will be sorely missed following her tragic death.
The star perished in a plane crash on Sunday morning in Mexico Sunday the age of 43.
TMZ reports that the singer's father and brother confirmed Jenni's demise on Spanish speaking TV station Telemundo.
The aircraft was flying from Monterrey to Toluca and lost contact with radar at around 3:15 in the morning just over 60 miles outside of Monterrey.
Apparently the plane went down soon after it took off.
Jenni flew with her entourage and there are no survivors.
Many celebrities took to Twitter to express their heartbreak over her death.
"Our deepest sympathy to the family & fans of @jennirivera & those that accompanied her on what was to be her last voyage. Rest in peace… (sic)" Gloria Estafan wrote.
"Heard confirmed news about our dear @jennirivera.. this breaks my heart in a million pieces.. it is just a huge loss for our community. (sic)" Wilmer Valderrama tweeted.
Jenni was recently named one of the top 25 most powerful women in People en Español and has sold over 20 million albums internationally.
