Jennifer Lopez believes any feuds on American Idol are real.
The singer gave up her seat on the judging panel of the TV show this year, with Steven Tyler also leaving. Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban have joined Randy Jackson on the programme, with the two women having a tumultuous relationship.
Nicki was filmed hurling obscenities at Mariah after they disagreed on a contestant, with the younger star accused of screaming death threats.
Although there have been claims the argument was staged, Jennifer is sure the two women have fallen out.
"I heard a little bit," she told BBC Newsbeat. "As far as my experience goes, whatever's happening is usually really real."
Jennifer gave up her seat on the panel to concentrate on her music career and to spend more time with her four-year-old twins Max and Emme.
The 43-year-old star has no regrets about her decision although it was hard for her to let go after two years with the programme.
"I do miss it," she admitted. "I loved doing the show and I loved all the people there."
Since quitting America Idol, Jennifer has been touring with Enrique Iglesias.
