Jennifer Lopez enjoys birthday bash

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday with "lots of mojitos" yesterday.

The singer-and-actress will turn 44 on July 24, but had an early party with friends and family at her pad in the Hamptons.

According to the New York Post, it was an "American barbecue" bash and included vast helpings of the minty cocktail at her Water Mill estate.

Entertainment was family-friendly, with the trampoline a highlight for younger guests, such as Jennifer's five-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Water balloons and sack races also featured, and a source claims the star's 26-year-old boyfriend Casper Smart was "the clear winner" during the games.

Later, Jennifer's parents, kids, aunts and cousins helped to light a cake with impressive sparklers.

Celebrity guests also joined in the fun, with singer Alicia Keys making an appearance.

Jennifer's manager Benny Medina added to the evening by making a "touching toast" in her honour.

Ensuring guests didn't leave hungry, the popstar hired Janet O'Brien to provide gourmet food.

Jennifer reportedly paid $10 million for her luxury Hamptons home, making it the perfect venue for a lavish birthday bash.

The star enjoyed an adults-only party earlier in the week at WALL nightclub in Miami.

Jennifer was joined by Casper and 40 friends, including rapper Pitbull, at the venue to dance the night away on Thursday.
