Jennifer Lopez `excited about future` following split

The couple, who have three-year-old twins Max and Emme, announced the end of their seven-year marriage on Friday before Lopez jetted off to sing at a lavish wedding in Ukraine for a rumoured $1million.

And a source told Us Magazine that the 41-year-old is concentrating on what lies ahead.

'She is looking forward to the future,' said an insider.

'She is jumping back into work and being a mum with all her energy and she is really excited. She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever.'

The former American Idol judge performed for the son of Azam Aslamov, a Uzbek oil tycoon, on Tuesday, and got to relax in a $4,100-a-night penthouse suite at the hotel Ville Elena before the wedding, the report said.

Hotel manager Yekaterina Komarova said that J-Lo was 'very pleasant'. '[She] greeted everyone, smiled a lot,' she said of the star.

Taking to the stage at the $15million wedding, she asked the 500 guests, 'Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today.'
