Jennifer Lopez was reportedly instrumental in reuniting her ex-husband Marc Anthony with his girlfriend.
Marc, 44, began dating Chloe Green, 22, in February but they split after a few months together. Earlier this month they were spotted enjoying a holiday on the French Riviera together, along with Chloe's Topshop mogul father Sir Philip Green and mom Tina.
It's now been claimed that Marc's ex-wife Jennifer was the one who convinced him to try again.
"At first Jennifer was a bit wary about the relationship, mainly because of the age gap. But when Marc recently confided in her how much he was missing Chloe and how miserable he was without her, she told him to give things another go," an insider told the British edition of Grazia magazine.
"Marc really trusts Jennifer as a friend."
Musician Marc apparently staged a romantic campaign to win back Chloe. He arranged for her to receive lavish bouquets of flowers and also wrote her love letters, which soon made her realise he was serious about reuniting.
"Things are going great again, Marc told Chloe he wants her back in his life to share everything with him," a source explained.
"Marc realised after some time out that he had true feelings for Chloe and that the age thing shouldn't matter," another added.
Chloe was quickly serious about Marc when they first started dating and even considered moving to America to spend more time with him.
The singer split from Jennifer in 2011 and they have five-year-old twins Max and Emme together. Jennifer, 43, has moved on and is dating 26-year-old backing dancer Casper Smart.
